If you are the leader of the city, you get the most of the money and fame. A farmer and the goods sellers\/makers have more money than the middle class but the rich people are the ones who work for the palace and for people from the palace. Slaves and lower class make almost nothing and have to roam the land for food on the morning or make a trade in the market by just handing over dead livestock for food or some baby clothes for a newborn in the family. The government has the biggest role in the city. They decide who becomes guilty in the trial if something happens and the trail leads back to them. Our civilization was based around the laws of Hammurabi who created more than two hundred and fifty laws over the people. Jobs are based on where you lived in the city. If you were near the creek and you had the best land for crops you had become a farmer.
