But the reason females can't do those things is because as soon as a daughter marries, she moves in with her husbands family and her parents typically pay for the grooms family a "dowry," leaving them with little money and no one to take care of them. \nI personally like this code of ethics, and personalized advertisements can only help a person in finding things that may interest them. The web is so large, so widespanning, and so spreadout that it's advantageous for anybody to find what they are looking for (or sometimes not!). For example, I found concert tickets online for my two favorite bands because of personalized advertisements. It only makes sense for both the consumer and the company to have personalized advertisements. However, I do find it uncomfortable that companies do keep tabs on myself and my interests; in many cases, information should stay private.
