Define: People changing the environment to their needs


Top Left Picture, they build bridges so, people without a boat can go building to building.

Top Right Picture: The canals are wide enough that when boats are parked other boats can still get through easy.

Bottom Right: Polders are used to control the water and reclaim their land since it was once underwater.

Bottom Left: This is their solution to reclaiming their land after 40% of the Netherlands was underwater.


We might use HEI to control the flooding in Louisiana because it is on the coastline and gets hit the most b hurricanes.
