In “My City” the central business district is located in the middle of the city so all three classes of people could access it. Heavy manufacturing in the city was located mostly near areas where there is a higher low income class because they pay little for their housing, thus it is proper to place it here. Light manufacturing is found by the middle class because the rich pay too much for their area where they live and they wouldn’t like it there. Low income classes are found mostly by heavy manufacturing and mostly on the border of city lines (toward the edge of the paper). Middle income classes are found by the central business district because they make up a large part of consumer purchasing power. The rich or the high income class is found in their own privatized area away from most other classes because they can afford to live in better more expensive communities.

2. I believe that my city most resembles the Multiple Nuclei Model because the high income classes are away from other classes and the central business district is found in between middle and low income communities. Also heavy manufacturing is found my low income communities just like my city.

3. In my opinion I believe Chicago is a Concentric Zone Model because of many factors. I believe it is one because most stores and major retailers are found in the middle of city just like the model.
Low Income Housing-I put this here by the factories because this is where living would be cheapest for low income

Commercial Business- The commercial business area is by the middle and high income families. These families have the means to stop. So I put it by them.

Middle income housing- I put this here so that they would have easy access to anything they needed. Living here would cost a little more than low income families

Light Manufacturing- I pit this here because it wouldn’t be as bad as the bigger factories. I think it is good to be by the central business because they would do business together

High Income housing- I put them the furthest away from all the factories and businesses but close to the commercial area. The rich people would not like to be crossed around all that stuff.

I put the high income housing away from all the manufacturing in the corner so that they don’t have to live by all the smoke since they are paying some more then the middle and low income housing and also they should be by the businesses. Movement is how ideas are moved place to place. And region is how a group of countries or states are characterized by their characteristics. Like the Midwest for example.

Location can be absolute by using latitude and longitude or relative by describing a place with respect. Another theme is Place with is describe with human which is something built man-made and/or physical characteristics which are things like mountains, rivers, etc. The next theme is Human-Environmental Interaction which is how humans adapt to their environment surrounding them. Movement is another theme this is about the distance of ideas, humans, goods, resources and other thing.
