Also, it wasn\u2019t only beneficial back then, but it is still beneficial nowadays. \n Life just gets worse and worse every single day for me. I am a serf. I wake up before the sun has arisen over the horizon to farm our fields. This is a terrible job but I have to deal with it. When I first wake up I farm the 1\/3 of the kings fields then in the middle of the day is when I go on to farming the 2\/3 peasants\/serfs fields. I have a lot of responsibilities. My favorite day of the week was the only day that I ever get off of work. It is Sunday. On Sunday we are let go to church. I love it so much because that is the day with the least manual labor. I work six days a week. Although I live in the manor I am not treated like royalty at all. The people who are treated like royalty are the knights, lords\/vassals, and the king. When I get home at night it is pitch black and all I do is eat a little bit then I go rite to sleep because tomorrow brings the same challenges.
\n In conclusion, the hardest role in the manor is being a serf. I wake up every morning to find out that I have to plow the lawns for the greedy loyal king. I have barely enough food to feed my peasant family. I am a am a serf. This is my daily day\u2026 First I begin my day on a Monday and wake up. I have to work all day every day. It is especially hard for me because I also have to raise my 3 children. To get by on the year I have to work very hard and spend backbreaking hours in the fields. This is also where I get my food to eat. I am actually very lucky to receive food from here because slaves don\u2019t have the right to sell their amount of food that they got. To me the only downfall is that I only have Sundays off, also that I have to give 10 out of 15 of the amount of crops a year to the lords. And the problem with that is that we get 5 left over. But we need 4 to survive the year and we only have 1 to sell or trade to other people. This year has especially horrible because we have had to work in the fields when it\u2019s cold and I think I am going to have to give my children away because I am catching the black plague and might die of starvations because I have to feed all my children. I wish one day that my children wouldn\u2019t have to go through this and live a better life. What we did during manoralism is we grew crops for ourselves and we had to give some of it the lord it was kind of like paying him our rent, but in crops. Manoralism fell because trade began to come back into society because of the crusuades. We began to become exposed to different cultures and goods. That\u2019s when manorlism started to fade . Us serfs even began to sell and that meant we could rent land! Fuedalsim came into power then and we were still at the bottom. We had to grow food for the knights, vassals, lords and kings. After the decline of fuedalism mainly because of the Black death was why it declined many, many people died because of it. Latin Christendom came in and we were still at the bottom. We did however get protected by the knights. Latin Christendom declined because they kept splitting up the churches. \nThere are pros and cons to the Bubonic Plaque. One of the definite cons to the Plaque is that I have to be incredibly catious to not catch it. If I were to catch it, the symptoms would be ridiculous and next to deathly. Anyone who has the symptoms (black spots, coughing and spitting blood, boils, and smelled horrible), I must avoid. But a very strong pro is that in response to all the Plaque\u2019s victims, there are a lot of new job opportunites to fullfill. There could be my chance to maybe advance into a freeman, vassle, or maybe even a knight.
\nWith many of our lords and vassals being feudal and taking part in the church hierarchy, we look up to the Pope as our spiritual leader. \n Life just gets worse and worse every single day for me. I am a serf. I wake up before the sun has arisen over the horizon to farm our fields. This is a terrible job but I have to deal with it. When I first wake up I farm the 1\/3 of the kings fields then in the middle of the day is when I go on to farming the 2\/3 peasants\/serfs fields. I have a lot of responsibilities. My favorite day of the week was the only day that I ever get off of work. It is Sunday. On Sunday we are let go to church. I love it so much because that is the day with the least manual labor. I work six days a week. Although I live in the manor I am not treated like royalty at all. The people who are treated like royalty are the knights, lords\/vassals, and the king. When I get home at night it is pitch black and all I do is eat a little bit then I go rite to sleep because tomorrow brings the same challenges.
\n In conclusion, the hardest role in the manor is being a serf.
